In 2020, I made a promise to take our Sashiko Friends to Japan. Unfortunately, we had to cancel it due to the pandemic. After 3 years of patience, I am very happy to make it happen with 8 Sashiko friends from all over the states.
As I am not arranging the tour for my business purpose, I can only take 8 friends. I thought of making it like a "Tour" organized by a Tour Company, yet then a taste of "Sharing the time in Japan as Atsushi would do by himself" will be greatly lost. So, I decided to push it through as this very small group tour with saying "No" to many people.
However, this doesn't mean that I do not want to include you, who cares to learn and acknowledge the Sashiko we practice. This is a blog series for you, whom I am thinkin of, to share the deepest Sashiko Stories of our Japan Tour 2023.
